Hannah Joy Sachs

Hannah Joy Sachs is an experienced educator and program director currently serving as a Course Director at Where There Be Dragons, focusing on immersive travel and global citizenship for high school and GAP year students. As the US National Director and Co-Director of the Humanity in Action Democracy Fellowship, Hannah leads strategic program initiatives and manages operations for educational opportunities in the United States. Previous roles include Program Leader for various international programs with Putney Student Travel and World Learning, along with roles in program coordination and communication management at Humanity in Action. Hannah holds a Master of Science in Migration Studies from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Davidson College, complemented by study abroad experiences in Southeast Asian and Development Studies.
