Patrick Gorey

Regional Lead Pharmacist at Humankind Charity

Patrick Gorey has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical field. Patrick started as a pharmacy assistant at Dalton's Pharmacy in 2013 and worked there for two months. Patrick then worked as a student manufacturing assembler at Abbott for three months in 2014. In 2015, they had a short role as a pharmacy student at NORCHEM LIMITED. From 2016 to 2017, they served as a pre-registration pharmacist at Robert and Roberts. Patrick then worked as a pharmacist at Robert and Roberts Ltd from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, they became a pharmacist at Spectrum Community Health CIC, where they later also took on the role of deputy head of healthcare. In 2023, they joined Humankind Charity as the regional lead pharmacist.

Patrick Gorey's education history includes a Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice from Teesside University, obtained from 2022 to 2025. Patrick also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Independent Prescribing from The University of Manchester, obtained in 2022. Additionally, they have a Master's of Pharmacy degree from the University of Sunderland, obtained from 2012 to 2016. Earlier, they completed their Irish Leaving Certificate from Presentation Secondary School Ballingarry in 2012. Patrick has also obtained various certifications, including the RCGP Certificate in the Management of Drug Misuse Part 1 from SLD Training in 2023, and the Mary Seacole Leadership and Development Programme from the NHS Leadership Academy in 2018. Furthermore, they have certifications in Leading For Change, Mental Health First Aid Level 2, and Pianoforte with Honours and Excellence Certificates.
