Bart Aben

Bart Aben is a Senior Consultant in Research & Development at HumanTotalCare since January 2021. Aben previously worked as a Research Data Management Specialist at Eindhoven University of Technology from May 2020 to January 2021 and held multiple PhD Candidate positions in Cognitive Psychology at KU Leuven, UGent, and Vrije Universiteit Brussel between 2013 and 2020, focusing on neuro-imaging techniques to understand cognitive demands. Aben's early research experience includes a trainee role at the University of Liège's Coma Science Group, exploring sleep electroencephalography in disorders of consciousness. Aben holds a Master of Science in Statistical Data Analysis from Ghent University, a Research Master in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, earning Cum Laude honors, from Maastricht University.
