Cheryl Bertsch has extensive experience in the field of education, currently serving as the Assistant Principal at Humble Independent School District since July 2012. Additionally, Cheryl is a Learning and Development Assessor at BloomBoard, Inc. and an Online Spanish Teacher & Private Tutor at Outschool, both roles initiated in 2022 and 2020, respectively. Cheryl also worked as an Executive Function Coach at Beyond BookSmart for a brief period in 2022. Prior to these positions, Cheryl was a Spanish Teacher and Team Leader at Cypress Fairbanks ISD from 1999 to 2012 and held the role of High School Spanish Teacher at Fairfax County Public Schools from 2009 to 2011. Cheryl began their career as a 2nd Grade Teacher at Aldine ISD in 1999. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from West Virginia University, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University, and a Teacher Certification in Elementary Education from the University of Houston.
