Catalina Munteanu is a post-doctoral researcher with extensive experience in academia and research. Currently affiliated with the Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies (IAMO) and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin since March 2014, Catalina has also worked as a PhD student and NASA Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2012 to 2016. Prior experience includes a research assistant position at the University of the Highlands and Islands and a freelance consultancy with WWF Romania. Catalina began the academic journey with a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Universitatea Babes-Bolyai Cluj Napoca, followed by a Diplom in Geography from Universität Innsbruck.
