Brendan Clifford

Brendan Clifford serves as the Chief Information Officer at Hume City Council since July 2023. Previously, Brendan held several leadership positions at CPA Australia from October 2018 to July 2023, including Head of Infrastructure, where the focus was on facilitating digital transformation and cloud adoption, and acting as Head of Infrastructure and Security, which involved establishing the Security Operations Centre and enhancing cyber security measures. Brendan also served as the Head of Information Technology at Goulburn-Murray Water, where governance and ICT policy were key responsibilities, and as Manager of Information Technology at Whitehorse Manningham, driving collaboration between councils for shared technology services. Brendan's career began as a Senior Network and Systems Engineer at Darebin City Council and as a Network Engineering Consultant at ComConexions. Brendan holds a Master of Business Administration from Swinburne University of Technology (2011-2013).
