Blake Schwendiman began their career in 2006 as a Contract Developer at Google, where they focused on Javascript development for Google gadgets and gadget ads. In 2008, they moved to Squidoo as a Talented Man of Mystery. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Moblyng, where they developed MMO games using HTML/HTML5, Javascript, CSS, and server-side components in PHP (LAMP) for Facebook and mobile handsets. Blake also developed a centralized logging system for analytics and business intelligence (BI) using MongoDB.
In 2011, Blake Schwendiman became the Managing Partner at Viking Rick's, LLC, where they developed iOS apps and games and integrated with Parse.com, Flurry and Push.io. From 2011 to 2014, they were the Lead Web Developer at Crystal Media Networks, where they developed web applications and mobile HTML5 applications and used ElasticSearch for scalable, robust full-text search of large datasets. In 2012, they moved to Volio as a Senior Software Developer, where they developed all aspects of a highly-engaging iOS video application experience.
From 2014 to 2016, Blake Schwendiman was the Senior iOS Developer at CÜR Media, Inc., where they developed a new streaming music experience that intersected Pandora and Spotify for listening on the web and mobile devices. During this time, they also became the Lead iOS Developer at CÜR Media, Inc. In 2016, they moved to MDLIVE, Inc. as the Director of Mobile Engineering and Director of iOS Engineering, and then Senior iOS Software Engineer.
In 2018, Blake Schwendiman became the CTO and Full Stack and Mobile Architect at Humetrix, where they lead scalability and security initiatives for Humetrix REST APIs and cloud-based services projects. Blake designed, implemented and maintained all new projects and recommended updates and improvements to legacy systems, deploying new services using a micro-services architecture on AWS using Serverless.
Blake Schwendiman attended Arizona State University from 1991 to 1994, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Blake also attended Brigham Young University - Idaho from 1988 to 1989, studying Accounting. Blake has also obtained an edX Verified Certificate for Fundamentals of TinyML from edX in February 2021.
