Michael Nielsen

Michael Nielsen began their career in 2007 as an Auditor at Kvist & Jensen A/S, where they worked on tasks related to Audit, External Reporting, and Tax. Michael was assigned to audit teams and worked with companies of varying sizes. In 2013, they joined hummel as a Finance Manager and later assumed the role of Financial Controller. In these positions, they were responsible for the yearly and monthly closing of group companies, as well as managing transfer pricing documentation. Since 2018, Michael has served as the Group CFO at hummel, working as a trusted business partner to the global organization and providing valuable business insights for growth and opportunity.

Michael Nielsen began their education in 2004 at Handelsskolen Minerva, where they completed a degree in Finance (HHX) in 2007. Michael then attended Aarhus Business College from 2007 to 2009, where they pursued a degree in Audit assistant. From 2008 to 2012, Michael enrolled at Aarhus University, obtaining a Diploma in Business Administration (HD) with a focus on Regnskab & økonomistyring. Lastly, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Administration and Auditing from Aarhus University, which they completed in 2015.
