Ehsan Foroughi

Ehsan Foroughi has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Ehsan is currently working as the CTO & Co-Founder at Crewscope, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to that, they were an Entrepreneur In Residence at FutureSight and the Chief Technology Officer (Fractional) at both Hummingbirds AI and Circuit Edge Inc., all in 2022.

One of their notable roles was as the Chief Technology Officer at Security Compass from May 2021 to June 2022. In this role, they were responsible for the execution, delivery, and support of all software and content offerings, with a particular focus on the SD Elements flagship product. Ehsan oversaw the Engineering, Product Operations, and Content divisions of the company.

Before that, Ehsan held various positions at Security Compass, including Vice President of Products from 2016 to 2021, Director of Product Management in 2015, and Director of Application Security Research from 2011 to 2014.

Prior to their time at Security Compass, they served as the CTO and Co-Founder of TELTUB Inc., a provider of customizable VoIP services, from December 2008 to January 2014.

Earlier in their career, Ehsan worked at TELUS Business as a Manager and Team Lead in Vulnerability Research from 2007 to 2010. Ehsan also worked as a Software Security Research Specialist at Assurent Secure Technologies, which was later acquired by TELUS, from 2005 to 2007.

Ehsan Foroughi's education history includes a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, which they obtained from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology from 1999 to 2003.
