Michael Hogland

Michael Hogland has 35 years of experience as an EVMS Consultant. From 2017 to 2022, they were a self-employed contractor, providing mentorship, training, life coaching, financial and emotional advice. From 1982 to 2017, they worked for Northrop Grumman (IS) in a variety of roles. These included Senior Program Controls on a $1B ARMY ERP, Program Control Manager for a NATO/Army software air defense simulation program, Program Control Analyst for a large USAF satellite construction program, and Site Program Control Manager. Michael was responsible for EVMS compliance, CDRL preparation and submittals, Cost/Schedule software lead, DCAA and DCMA liaison, creation of program control directives and work instructions, Program Control lead for systems engineering and deployment teams, financial forecasts, baseline controls, and new business cost volume proposal support. Michael also served as a Project Systems liaison for the conversion of legacy accounting systems into common SAP R3.

Michael Hogland attended the University of California, Los Angeles from 1980 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics, Accounting, and 3rd World Economic Development.
