Joe Unis

Joe Unis is a partner at Locke Lord LLP. Joe has extensive experience representing and advising various oil and gas exploration and production companies, individuals, health care companies, universities, financial institutions, insurance companies, and other corporate clients with respect to contract, title, and royalty disputes, in all phases of litigation and negotiation. Joe also litigates patent, copyright, and trademark matters.

Unis currently serves as the Co-Hiring Partner for the firm's Dallas office, and they serve on the Dallas Diversity Committee.

Joe Unis has a Doctor of Law from SMU Dedman School of Law, where they graduated magna cum laude and was in the order of the coif. Joe also has a Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Notre Dame, where they majored in finance and sociology and graduated magna cum laude. Joe Unis also attended Jesuit Dallas, St. Mark's School of Texas, and The Lamplighter School.
