May Wang, MA, MPH, DrPH, is Professor of Community Health Sciences at the Fielding School of Public Health, UCLA. Her research has focused on social and physical environmental influences on growth and development during childhood and adolescence, and the contributions of policies, systems and the environment to food security, health and well-being. She has spent the last decade leading interdisciplinary teams of researchers and practitioners on community-engaged translational research to address food insecurity and health disparities.
