Juliana Pereira is the Child Nutrition Programs Manager at Hunger Free America. She is determined to improve the health of our most vulnerable New Yorkers - children - by advocating for the expansion and improvement of federal child nutrition programs like SNAP, WIC, P-EBT, and school/summer meals. She specializes in schools-based outreach and building local advocacy capacity among parents and family workers around these programs.
Juliana grew up in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York. After she received a BA in Spanish Language and Literature and a MPA from Binghamton University, she moved to New York City to pursue a nonprofit career.
