Nisha Vora

Nisha Vora has a diverse work experience across various industries. Nisha started their career as a Legal Intern at the International Institute of the Bay Area, where they prepared immigration applications and advised clients in deportation clinics. Nisha then interned at Equality California, where they contributed to the "Win Marriage Back" campaign and conducted research on CA Prop 8.

Nisha later worked as a Student Attorney at the Harvard Prison Legal Assistance Project, assisting prison inmates with legal inquiries and representing them in disciplinary hearings. Nisha then joined the Federal Public Defender as a Legal Intern, where they drafted legal documents and reviewed trial records.

In 2012, Nisha transitioned to the corporate world as a Litigation Associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP. In this role, they drafted legal documents, advised financial institutions on regulatory and criminal defense investigations, and counseled clients on compliance with federal commodities and antitrust law.

Nisha expanded their expertise in the legal field by working as a Staff Attorney in the Housing Unit at Legal Services NYC. There, they represented low-income tenants in housing court proceedings and drafted various legal documents.

In 2017, Nisha shifted their focus to content creation and marketing. Nisha joined Hungryroot as a Content Marketing Manager, where they developed and curated digital content across multiple channels. Nisha was later promoted to Director of Content, responsible for devising and optimizing content strategy.

Currently, Nisha is working at Rainbow Plant Life as a Vegan Chef, Blogger, and Cookbook Author.

Nisha Vora completed their education at the following institutions. From 2009 to 2012, they attended Harvard Law School, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Prior to that, they attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2005 to 2009, and earned a Bachelor's degree. Nisha'sfield of study during their undergraduate years included Political Science and Legal Studies.
