Daniel Cihak has a diverse work experience in various engineering and research roles. Daniel is currently working at Hunt Energy as a Senior Staff Engineer since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Hunt Refining Company as a Senior Plant Engineer and Project Engineer from January 2019 to the present. Daniel also worked at Hunt Oil as a Project Engineer from September 2012 to April 2016. Before transitioning to the energy industry, Daniel worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Texas A&M University from June 2011 to August 2012 and from September 2010 to May 2011, respectively. Daniel had an internship at Popp Gray & Hutcheson LLP in June 2010. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin in June 2009. Daniel also had internship experiences at Blum Consulting Engineers, Inc. in June 2008 and at Woodbine Development Corporation from June 2005 to January 2008.

Daniel Cihak has a strong educational background in Mechanical Engineering. Daniel obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2010. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, which they completed in 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Daniel Cihak also holds a Project Management Certificate, which they obtained from SMU Continuing & Professional Education in May 2023.
