Victor Liu

President at Hunt Oil

Victor Liu has a strong background in the energy industry, with significant experience at Hunt Energy Enterprises and Hunt Power. At Hunt Energy Enterprises, they started as Vice President in 2008 and quickly advanced to Senior Vice President in 2010. In 2013, they became President of the company, where they played a key role in the creation and development of new energy technology ventures. Some notable projects include Motive Drilling Technologies, where they served as Chairman before it was sold to Helmerich & Payne, and Hunt Perovskite Technologies, which merged with 1366 Technologies to become CubicPV. Victor Liu also served as a Board of Directors member for CubicPV. Additionally, they played a role in the development of the Hunt Energy Network, a software-defined battery network. Prior to their time at Hunt Energy Enterprises, Victor Liu was Director at Hunt Power from 2006 to 2008.

Victor Liu's education history begins with their enrollment at Southern Methodist University from 1990 to 1994. Here, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. During the academic year 1992-1993, they went on to study Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) at the University of Oxford. Later, in the period 2002-2004, Victor attended Harvard Business School, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.).
