Myrna Ortiz

Myrna Ortiz, CPA has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Myrna currently holds the position of Vice President Financial Accounting & Reporting at Hunt Companies, Inc, starting in August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at El Paso Electric Company for 12 years, with roles including Director of Tax from January to August 2022, Director - Financial and Energy Accounting from January 2020 to January 2022, Manager Financial Accounting from October 2015 to December 2019, and Staff, Senior and Supervisor Financial Accounting from August 2010 to October 2015. Before joining El Paso Electric Company, they worked as a Senior Financial Accountant at Hunt Companies from August 2009 to August 2010. Myrna began their career as a Senior Audit Associate at KPMG US in December 2004, where they worked until 2009.

Myrna Ortiz, CPA holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at El Paso. Myrna further pursued their education and obtained a Master's degree in Accounting from the same institution in 2004.
