Erick Phillips

Erick Phillips is a seasoned professional in the textile engineering field, currently serving as the Director of Textile Engineering at Hunter Douglas, Inc. since May 2016, where leadership of the Textile Engineering team focuses on delivering high-end designs and advanced performance in textiles for the Window Fashions Division. Previously, Erick held various roles, including Senior Manager of Material Creation Group for Apparel Sustainability at adidas Group, where management of material innovations aimed to enhance performance. With a strong foundation as a Textile Chemist at Cotton Incorporated, Erick contributed to functional finishing research, and earlier experience includes roles at Monsanto Company and Hunter Douglas, emphasizing innovative textile development. Educational qualifications include a BS in Environmental Bio/Chem from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry and an AS in Humanities/Social Science from SUNY Orange.
