Erin Egan

Erin Egan is an accomplished design professional with a strong background in textiles and materials. Currently serving as Associate Design Manager at Hunter Douglas, Inc. since May 2019, Erin has previously held roles including Textile Material Designer and Textile Design Intern within the same company. Prior experience includes a Design Intern position at Implus, where sock designs were created from research to CAD development using Adobe Illustrator, and a Social Media and Marketing Intern role at NC State Wilson College of Textiles, supporting marketing efforts and producing digital content. Erin also worked as a College Intern at The Arc of the Triangle, Inc., focusing on advocacy for individuals with disabilities, and as an R&D Summer Intern at Culp, gaining insights into vertically-integrated textile production. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Fashion and Textile Design from North Carolina State University, along with studies at Istituto Lorenzo de'​ Medici and Guilford College.
