Clara Laydon

Clara Laydon has extensive experience in water and wastewater operations optimization and reuse applications, currently serving as the Purified Recycled Water Program Lead and Project Manager at Hunter Water since October 2022. Previously, Clara held positions as Principal Process Engineer and Senior Process Engineer at Hunter H2O from January 2015 to November 2022. Clara's career in the industry began at Hunter Water Australia, where responsibilities as a process engineer focused on similar operational optimizations from December 2003 to January 2015. Clara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Newcastle, completed in 2003, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from Forsythes Training, obtained in 2020.
