Sarah Gray

Sarah Gray is an experienced environmental planner currently serving at Hunter Water since February 2016, where responsibilities include providing environmental planning advice, managing environmental incidents, and overseeing compliance and training within the Environment Team. Previously held positions at Hunter Water include Environmental Incident Officer and Senior Environmental Planner, contributing to environmental management systems and project coordination. Sarah's career also features a role as Network Operations Engineer, engaging in system engineering tasks and regulatory compliance. In addition to her corporate experience, Sarah serves as a ME Program Ambassador for Regional Development Australia Hunter, sharing insights from her educational journey in engineering, which culminated in a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and is currently pursuing an MBA. Notably, Sarah was recognized as Young Engineer of the Year 2019 by Engineers Australia and has participated in WaterAid's Winnovators Colombia challenge. Early career experiences include a customer service role at Coles and a placement as an Undergraduate Civil Engineer at Hunter Water Corporation.
