Naveen Ballem

Naveen Ballem is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in bariatric surgery and angel investing. Currently, Naveen serves as an Angel Investor for both the Harvard Business School HBS Alumni Angels Association and Directly, while also holding the position of Surgeon at New York Bariatric Group. As the Director of Bariatric Surgery at Hunterdon Healthcare and Clara Maass Medical Center, Naveen focuses on patient-centric, value-based care for bariatric patients, and has also served as Chief Medical Officer Interim and Chief Clinical Effectiveness Officer at Clara Maass Medical Center. Naveen completed a Laparoscopic Surgery Fellowship at UAB School of Medicine and has an MD from the University of the West Indies. Additionally, Naveen holds a Master's in Healthcare Management from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a BA in psychology and English from Boston College.
