Jason Borders

Jason Borders is a seasoned academic and theologian, currently serving as a Professor of New Testament in the Religion Department at Huntingdon College since August 2004 and as Theologian in Residence at First United Methodist Church since January 2018. Jason Borders holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in New Testament from Brunel University London/London School of Theology, obtained between 2000 and 2004. Additional education includes a Graduate Year Program focusing on Hebrew Language, Archaeology, and the Arab-Israeli Conflict at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, a Modern Hebrew course at the University of Haifa, and a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) in Biblical/Theological Studies from Emory University. Jason Borders completed undergraduate studies at Millsaps College, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics.
