Joel Bernard

Joel Bernard is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and program management. Currently serving as IWS 1IT FST Engineering Lead and Senior Program Manager & Systems Engineer at Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. since February 2016, Joel previously held senior roles at Camber Corporation as a Senior Systems Engineer in the Novonics Division, and at McKean Defense Group as a Military Systems Analyst. Joel's career in systems engineering began at Novonics Corporation, following a distinguished tenure as a LCDR SWO in the US Navy from 1995 to 2007. Education includes a Master of Science from the Naval Postgraduate School, a Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy, and further studies at Harvard University and the U.S. Naval War College.
