Tom Moore Vadm

Tom Moore VADM, USN (ret) currently serves as Corporate Vice President and Vice President for Nuclear Operations at Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc., starting in November 2020. Moore is also a member of the Board of Advisors for Nakupuna Companies and ITA International since December 2020 and July 2021, respectively. Previously, Moore commanded the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) from June 2016 to June 2020 and was the Program Executive Officer for Aircraft Carriers from August 2011 to June 2016, overseeing significant programs for aircraft carrier construction and modernization. In earlier roles, Moore held various leadership positions within the U.S. Navy, including Director of Fleet Readiness Division and Aircraft Carrier Program Manager. Moore's educational background includes a Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master's degree in Information Technology from The George Washington University, a Bachelor's degree in Operations Analysis from the United States Naval Academy, and a Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online.
