Emma Blaxter is an experienced professional in events management, fundraising, and community engagement, currently serving as Events and Engagement Officer and Development Events Manager at The Huntington since October 2018. Previously, Emma was a Documentary Film Ambassador for "Defying the Nazis: The Sharps' War," where responsibilities included planning and scheduling screenings and speaking engagements. Emma also held the position of Manager of Donor Relations and Special Projects at Hyde Square Task Force from 2013 to 2016, managing communications and fundraising efforts while implementing numerous community arts events. Early career experiences include working as an Associate Producer on the same documentary project, Development Coordinator at Airline Ambassadors International, and Lead Tutor at Moving Forward Education. Emma has a Master of Public Policy from Tufts University and a Bachelor's degree in Women's Studies from Mills College.
