John T. Gerhart

John’s practice focuses on commercial litigation and arbitration.

John represents clients in a wide array of complex business disputes. He represents plaintiffs and defendants in disputes arising out of, among other things, corporate, securities, financial services, and real estate transactions, construction projects, and franchise, distribution, partnership and joint venture relationships. John’s clients include businesses in the financial services, private equity, family office, real estate, construction, energy, manufacturing and hospitality industries. He represents clients throughout the country in federal and state court lawsuits and in arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association, the International Centre for Dispute Resolution [ICDR], JAMS, and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority [FINRA]. Before entering private practice, and after attending college on a military scholarship, John served as a captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps.
