José Manuel Velarde holds extensive experience in supply chain management and procurement, currently serving as Sr. Manager of Indirect Procurement at Huntsman Corporation since April 2021, overseeing CAPEX, MRO, and maintenance activities across North America and Latin America. Velarde also contributes to education as an Adjunct Professor in Supply Chain and Logistics Technology at the University of Houston and in Supply Chain Management and Operations Management at North American University. Previous roles include Global Category Manager at KBR, Inc. and Category Management Champion at Centrica, among others, with a proven record of managing large-scale procurement projects totaling over $250 million.
