Kevin Gundersen has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries and roles. Kevin started their career as a Credit Analyst at CreditUs in 2004 before moving on to become a Manager of Program Development at the Global Business Alliance (formerly OFII) in 2006. In 2007, they joined the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security as the Staff Director for the Subcommittee on Counterterrorism and Intelligence, a position they held until 2013.
In 2011, Kevin joined Romney for President, Inc. as an Advisor for the Counterterrorism and Intelligence Working Group. Kevin also served as an Intelligence Officer (Reserves) for the U.S. Navy from 2011 to 2020. In 2012, they were part of the Mitt Romney Presidential Transition team, where they researched and vetted potential nominees for Cabinet-level and senior departmental positions.
Kevin joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2014, working as the Senior Managing Director and Chief of Staff to the President & CEO until 2015. Kevin then joined Huntsman Corporation in 2016, where they held various roles, including Director of U.S. Government Affairs and Director of Global Government Affairs. Currently, Kevin is the Vice President of Global Corporate Communications and Government Affairs at Huntsman Corporation.
Kevin Gundersen obtained a BA in Political Science from Fordham University from the years 2000 to 2004. Kevin then pursued an MS in Strategic Intelligence at the National Intelligence University from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, in 2003, they completed a study abroad program in International Relations at the University of Sydney. Prior to their university education, they attended Boston College High School from 1996 to 2000, where they focused on college preparatory studies.
