Hurst Point Group

Hurst Point Group is a UK-based wealth management group, backed by Carlyle with current Assets under Advice or Management (AuA/M) of approximately £5.5 billion. The Group was created in late 2019 in connection with the proposed acquisition of Harwood Wealth Management plc that completed in March 2020. Its predecessor firm, Hurst Point Capital, was set up in early 2019 with support from Carlyle to identify opportunities to develop a broad-based UK wealth management group through an initial acquisition and subsequent activity. Since the initial acquisition, the Group has acquired the Argentis financial planning business, Cedar Financial Planning, Hawksmoor Group Limited (a boutique investment management business) and a number of other smaller businesses. The Group has recently announced the acquisition of three other firms: Gore Browne Investment Management, Metis Financial Planning and Metis Investment Management, and Robinsons Financial Planning. The effect of these acquisition is expected to increase the Group’s AuA/M to approximately £7 billion. Hurst Point Group is focussed around two elements of the wealth management industry: the provision of Financial Planning Advice and associated Investment Management solutions. We believe combining the best of these elements can create propositions of the future that will drive long term sustainable client satisfaction, customer engagement and shareholder value.
