Robert Hess

Robert Hess is a Senior Counsel at Husch Blackwell and has extensive experience in providing legal support to health system leaders. They previously served as Senior Counsel and Practice Group Leader for Health Care at the University of Missouri System, where they managed a seven-member legal team and advised senior executives on health care legal issues. Prior to that, Robert worked as a Counsel at the University, advising on strategic transactions and regulatory compliance. They began their legal career as a law clerk for the Missouri Supreme Court and were a partner at Husch Blackwell LLP for a decade, focusing on health care regulatory matters. Robert earned a JD from Vanderbilt University Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
