Curt Vanweelden

Principal Engineer at Husco

Curt VanWeelden has a strong work experience in the engineering field, with a focus on hydromechanical and electromechanical design. Curt started their career at Aerospace Fuel Controls in 1988 and quickly progressed from a beginner to a group leader, managing several direct reports. During their time there, they also taught himself magnetics and EASY5 simulation. In 1994, they joined Allied Signal/Honeywell as a Project Engineer before moving to HUSCO International in the same role. At HUSCO, they eventually became the VP of Automotive Engineering and remained in that position until 2012. Curt then joined Enerpac as an Advanced Engineering Leader, where they worked until 2018. Most recently, in 2018, Curt joined Husco as a Principal Engineer.

Curt VanWeelden earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University in 1985. Curt continued their education at Purdue University, where they received a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Controls in 1987.
