Lars Backlund

Lars Backlund has extensive experience in hardware engineering and project management within the electronics industry. Currently serving as HW Technical Project Manager Lead and Senior Hardware Engineer at Husqvarna Group since June 2018, Lars oversees manufacturability and production engineering issues related to circuit board industrialization for robotic lawnmowers, focusing on cost-effective and high-quality production with suppliers. Prior to this role, Lars spent over 26 years at Ericsson in various positions including Industrialisation Engineer/Teamleader, where responsibilities included managing manufacturability in product development projects, and Component Engineer, which involved production verification of new components. Lars began a career in electronics as an electrical tester, providing electrical testing and troubleshooting for circuit boards. Educational qualifications include post-secondary training in CAD/CAM and a degree as a Gymnasieingenjör in Electrical/Telecommunications from Sven Eriksonskolan.
