Jasiel Martin-Odoom

Jasiel Martin-Odoom currently serves as the Africa Investment Officer at Accion Venture Lab, leading investments in inclusive fintech startups across Africa since July 2022. Simultaneously, Jasiel is an Angel Squad Member at Hustle Fund. Previously, Jasiel held various positions including Senior Investment Associate and Portfolio Manager at Unreasonable Collective, Africa-Asia Impact Investing Fellow at the African Venture Philanthropy Alliance, and Senior Venture Manager (Volunteer) at Positive Planet UK. Early career experience includes roles at Goldman Sachs as an Investment Banking Analyst and Summer Analyst, investment team member at the NYU Impact Investment Fund, and Graduate Programming Assistant at New York University’s Center for Student Life. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from St. John's University.
