Riley Trettel

Riley Trettel has a diverse work history, starting with an internship at Medtronic as a Regulatory Operations Intern in 2018. In 2019, Riley worked as a Neuroscience Research Intern at Collège de France, where they conducted studies on mouse behavior and brain chemistry. During the same year, Riley also worked as a Research Engineer at the University of Chicago, where they invented a modular tabletop projection microscope for classroom use. They then joined UChicago Medicine as a Clinical Research Assistant, conducting research until 2021. In 2022, Riley started working at US Bitcoin Corp, taking on roles such as Research and Development Associate, General Manager, and Director of Corporate Development. Later, Hut 8 and US Bitcoin Corp merged, and Riley continued with the merged company as the Vice President of Corporate Development.

Riley Trettel obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Chicago, completing their education from 2017 to 2021.
