Jennifer Lees has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical operations and research. Jennifer started their career in 2003 as a Study Coordinator in the Renal Department at Southern Health. In 2005, they worked as a Clinical Research Associate at GlaxoSmithKline. From 2007 to 2014, they served as a Senior Clinical Research Associate and Project Manager at IQVIA. In 2014, they joined Molecule2Market as a Senior Clinical Research Consultant. In 2015, they worked as a Senior Clinical Project Manager at The CLINICAL TRIAL Company (ANZ) Pty Limited. Jennifer joined HUTCHMED in 2016 and has held various roles including Senior Clinical Project Manager, Director of Clinical Operations for Australia and New Zealand, and currently as the Director of Clinical Operations for the Asia Pacific region. Their responsibilities in these roles include team management, training, budget oversight, vendor identification, and regulatory oversight.
Jennifer Lees received a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science from RMIT in 1995. Jennifer then pursued further education at the University of Melbourne, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree with honors in Science, Department of Medicine in 1998. Jennifer continued their academic journey at the University of Melbourne and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Microbiology and Immunology in 2008. In November 2019, they also obtained a certification in People Leadership from the Australian Institute of Management.
