Manus Burns

Manus Burns has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Manus currently holds the position of Head of Operations Enablement at Athelas since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Central Operations at Athelas from 2022 to 2023. Before joining Athelas, Manus worked at Gopuff as a General Manager on the Market Strategy & Management team, where they achieved significant growth in order volume and contribution margin. Manus also worked at Uber in multiple roles, including Senior Operations Strategy Manager and Operations Manager. Manus's experience in the retail industry includes working as a Multi-Store Operations Manager at Macy's and completing the Military Executive Development Program. Manus served as a Commissioned Officer in the US Army for over 13 years, holding leadership, operational planning, and strategic planning roles.

Manus Burns holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Political Science with a minor in Business from the University of Oregon. Manus also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Manus is currently pursuing a Master of Computer and Information Technology degree in Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania, which they are expected to complete in 2023. Manus has also obtained a Certificate in Strategy from Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2018.
