Steve Beckett

Steve Beckett is an accomplished leader in customer experience and digital communications, currently serving as the Customer Experience and Channels Lead at Hutt City Council since January 2018, where leadership resulted in the council being voted No. 1 Web Channel in Local Government 2023. Beckett has a robust background in managing cross-functional teams, driving digital transformation, and developing innovative online strategies across various organizations, including the Department of Corrections and Victoria University of Wellington. With a BSc Honours degree in Applied Computing, Beckett has demonstrated a consistent ability to enhance digital presence and user engagement, having received multiple awards for various projects throughout a diverse career spanning over two decades in web services and user experience.
