Jess Vasina

Jess Vasina has worked in the manufacturing and process development field for over two decades. Jess began their career in 2000 at Cargill, where they held various roles including Global Process Development and Piloting Leader, Director of Biotechnology Research and Development, Fermentation Team Lead, Global Fermentation Collaboration Program Manager, Principal Engineer, and Ethanol Technology Development Manager. In 2021, they joined Impossible Foods as Vice President of Process Technology and Manufacturing. Most recently, in 2022, they became Vice President of Manufacturing and Process Development at Huue.

Jess Vasina received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1992, followed by a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington in 1997.
