Project Engineer - Microgrids at HYBRICO Energy Technologies Ltd.

Marcos Eduardo Guoz Rodas has worked in the energy and telecommunications industries since 2018. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as an Auxiliar de Cátedra at the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as an Ingeniero de Planta at Grupo Global, where they managed production processes, served as head of maintenance and pre-press, and planned raw materials and purchases. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as an Ingeniero de Proyectos Eléctricos at PROELECTRIC, S.A., where they evaluated and designed electrical projects, transformers, and lighting. Currently, they are an R&D Engineer and Tech-Support Engineer at HYBRICO Energy Technologies, where they design and develops renewable energy, telecommunications, backup systems, and solar panels, as well as researching renewable energy.

Marcos Eduardo Guoz Rodas completed their Ingeniería Eléctrica degree from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala between 2015 and 2018. In 2014, they obtained a TOEFL certification from EdITS Educational and Industrial Testing Service. Marcos Eduardo is currently enrolled at Universidad Galileo, where they are expected to complete their Maestría in Energía renovable by 2023.
