Rafael González Nieves

Rafael González Nieves began their career in 2007 as an Internship at AICIA (Andalusian Association for Research and Industrial Cooperation). In 2008, they became a Database Administrator at Universidad de Sevilla. In 2009, they joined Win Inertia, where they held the roles of Sales and Marketing Manager, R&D Engineer and Head of Firmware Area, and Firmware/Software Engineer. In 2017, they moved to SerTec as a Development Engineer and Energy Business Analyst. Since 2018, they have been a Program Manager at Hybrid Energy Storage Solutions Ltd., where they are responsible for organizing programs and activities, developing new programs, and preparing funding proposals. Additionally, they have provided freelance services since 2016, including design, development, integration, and commissioning of firmware/software applications and industrial communication networks.

Rafael González Nieves has a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Higher Technical School of Engineering of the University of Seville, which they obtained in 2012. Rafael has since obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from IMF Smart Education in 2018, and a Technical Course on Photovoltaic Solar Energy from Centro de Estudios de Energías Renovables in 2020. Rafael also has a Course of Multilateral Financial Institutions from Extenda (Agencia Andaluza de Promoción Exterior) from 2019, an ISO 21500 Project Management and Scrum+Kanban methodologies from AGIPCI Consultores in 2018, a Finance for Project Managers from Escuela de Project Management in 2017, a Basic Course on Digital Marketing from Interactive Advertising Bureau in 2016, a Basic and Advanced Programming in HTML from ILAB. Instituto de Formación Laboral in 2011, a Participation Certificate on Training “Configuración de Redes de Área Local” from S.I.P. Junior Empresa – Servicios de Ingeniería y Proyectos in 2005, and a Web Design from S.I.P. Junior Empresa – Servicios de Ingeniería y Proyectos in 2004. Additionally, Rafael has a Finance 101 for Renewable Energy Professionals certification from HeatSpring.
