Kasia Drozd

Kasia Drozd has a diverse work experience in the fields of UX/UI design, graphic design, and photography. Kasia is currently working as a UX/UI Designer at Hybrid Heroes since 2022. Previously, they were self-employed as a Freelance UX Designer from 2019 to 2022, working on various projects. Kasia has also worked as a UX/UI Designer at UNOWN, a sustainable fashion leasing start-up, designing their app for members. Kasia collaborated with the founder to determine necessary features and created user flows and screens.

Additionally, Kasia worked as a UX Designer at HappyCow, where they focused on developing social features for the biggest directory of vegan restaurants. Kasia conducted research, ideation, and redesign work. Prior to that, they earned a UX Design Certification from CareerFoundry in 2019.

Kasia's earlier experience includes working as a Photographer at Zalando SE and as a Graphic Designer at MONOQI. Kasia gained valuable entrepreneurial experience as the co-founder of POR FAVOR, an indie underwear brand. In this role, they were involved in various tasks such as developing the brand's visual language, fashion and product photography, photo shoot planning, graphic design, social media management, and customer support.

Kasia Drozd's educational journey began in 2010 when they enrolled at Studium Fotografii ZPAF. Kasia completed their studies there in 2013, earning a diploma in Photography. In the same year, they also started their higher education at the University of Warsaw, where they pursued a degree in Italian Studies. Kasia's time at the university lasted from 2008 to 2013, culminating in their attainment of a Magister degree. More recently, in 2019, they sought to further enhance their skills by attending CareerFoundry, where they completed two programs: UX Design Fundamentals and UX Immersion, thus becoming a Certified UX Designer.
