Martina Skande has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 1999, Martina worked as a Financial Analyst at GE Medical Systems, where they were responsible for Consignment Inventory and implemented process improvements through a Six Sigma Project. Martina then joined GE Capital Europe's Financial Management Program, an intensive two-year leadership program focusing on finance.
In 2002, Martina transitioned to GE Money Bank, first as a Sourcing Manager, where they identified and evaluated suppliers and managed the tender and bid process. Martina later became a Pricing Analyst, performing financial analysis and modeling for product development and acquisitions.
Moving on to Genworth in 2007, Martina worked as a Client Relationship Manager, developing and growing existing clients while identifying and pitching to new prospects. Martina also served as a Product Development Manager, conducting financial analysis and modeling for new and existing products, and leading the New Product Introduction process.
In 2011, Martina joined Ernst & Young as a Director in their Advisory Services. Martina focused on management consulting in the financial services industry, leading and delivering large-scale transformational programs and risk and performance improvement projects.
From 2016 to 2018, Martina worked at Santander Consumer Bank - Nordics. Initially, they held the role of Nordic Commercial Director for Unsecured products, overseeing strategy development and implementation, product development, and commercial deals. Later, they became the Business Transformation Director, leading projects and initiatives in areas such as innovation, PSDII, open banking, and digital transformation.
Martina then joined Qliro in 2018, serving in several roles. Martina first became the Chief Business Development Officer, where they led strategic development, board approval, and execution of important cross-functional projects. Martina was also responsible for making Qliro an independent company, listing it on Nasdaq, and exploring new business opportunities. Martina then took on the position of Chief Product and Marketing Officer, managing teams and driving product strategy, implementation, and marketing. Finally, they became the Deputy CEO, contributing to Qliro's growth and focusing on customer experience and sustainability.
Currently, Martina Skande is the CEO of Hydda, a group of innovative technology companies providing solutions for the real estate industry. Martina leads the organization in creating efficient solutions and solving real problems through collaboration with industry leaders. Martina plays a crucial role in building the digital society of the future.
Martina Skande began their education by completing high school at Saltsjöbadens samskola from 1990 to 1994. Martina then attended Mid Sweden University from 1995 to 1997, where they studied Business Administration. Martina continued their education at Lund University from 1997 to 1999, earning a Master's degree in Corporate Finance/International Finance. In 2021, they obtained a Board Certificate from the Board Company.
