Matt Rhodes

Matt Rhodes is a seasoned communications and public affairs professional with extensive experience in leading communications strategies across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Communications & Engagement at The Hyde Group since June 2023, Rhodes oversees public affairs, brand management, and digital communications, acting as a senior advisor to top executives. In addition, Rhodes co-chairs the National Communications & Influencing Group at the National Housing Federation, contributing to the shaping of its communications efforts. Prior roles include Assistant Director of Corporate Affairs at Metropolitan Thames Valley, where responsibilities encompassed public policy influence and stakeholder engagement, and leadership positions at The G15, Islington Council, and Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council. Rhodes holds a Specialist Diploma in Public Affairs and a BA Hons in Peace Studies and International Relations from Lancaster University.
