Evan N. McLaughlin

Evan N. McLaughlin, MNI, currently serves as Marine Manager at Hydra Subsea and Offshore Construction since September 2025. Previously, McLaughlin held the position of Senior Manager Fleet Operations at McDermott International, Ltd., overseeing marine and dynamic positioning (DP) operations for offshore vessels. Experience also includes the role of Marine Technical Manager at Pacific Drilling, managing DP operations for drillships. McLaughlin's career began at Transocean, where notable positions included Global Manager of Marine Training and Competence and Global Manager of Human Resources for Marine Personnel, implementing industry-leading competency assessment programs. Earlier experiences encompass roles with GlobalSantaFe Corporation and Global Marine Drilling, where McLaughlin progressed from Third Officer to Chief Mate, ensuring safety and operational efficiency in marine operations. McLaughlin holds a B.S. in Marine Science from Texas A&M University Galveston Campus.
