Juan Martell

Juan Martell is an experienced professional in the fields of safety, risk management, and maintenance, currently serving as Senior Manager of Marine Maintenance at the Port of Seattle since 2015. Juan has held multiple leadership roles within the Port, including Manager of Airport SMS Assurance and Acting Senior Manager of Operational Risk and Safety, and has also co-chaired the Latinos Unidos at the Port Employee Resource Group. Prior to this, Juan worked as a Compliance Industrial Safety and Health Investigator for the State of Washington, conducting safety inspections and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Early career experience includes serving as a Veterans Service Representative at WorkSource Pierce and as a General Foreman at URS Corporation. Juan holds a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management with a focus on Occupational Safety and Health Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, along with an Authorized OSHA Trainer certification from the University of Washington School of Public Health.
