Andrew Nosworthy

Andrew Nosworthy is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Manager of Operational Technology at Hydro Tasmania since June 2009. In this role, Andrew leads the Spot Trading and Generation Control function, acting as a crucial interface between the trading team and other business areas. Andrew's expertise includes real-time electricity and gas trading, hydro power station dispatch, and market analysis. Prior to this position, Andrew worked as a Spot Trader and Generation Controller, and earlier in their career, Andrew gained experience as a Software Developer at Neotechnology Pty Ltd from December 2004 to June 2009. Andrew holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Tasmania, earned between 2002 and 2007.
