David Middleton

David Middleton has extensive experience in the water industry, with a focus on strategy, growth, and leadership roles. David most recently served as the Director of Strategy & Growth in the Global Water Business Line at AECOM. Prior to that, they held positions such as Chair at Greater Western Water and VicWater, and General Manager for Water, Power & Energy at Calibre. David has also held various leadership positions at City West Water, Jacobs, CH2M Beca Ltd, and CH2M. David has a strong background in international business development and has served as Managing Director for Australia & NZ at CH2M. Middleton is currently serving as a Non-Executive Director at Hydro Tasmania.

David Middleton attended Ballarat High School, although the years of attendance are unspecified. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Federation University Australia from 1987 to 1990. David furthered their education at Deakin University, earning a Master of Engineering (MEng) with a specialization in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology from 1995 to 1998. David Middleton then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Technology Management from Deakin University, which they completed from 1999 to 2001.
