Lucy Aird

Lucy Aird is a professional with a robust background in law and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Currently serving as the Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Hydro Tasmania since May 2018, Lucy has developed a strong expertise in fostering inclusive workplaces. Prior to this role, Lucy held positions as Diversity and Inclusion Manager at Hydro Tasmania and Professional Support Lawyer at Herbert Smith Freehills. Lucy's legal career began as an Associate at Corrs Chambers Westgarth, followed by a role as an Employee Relations Lawyer at the Australian Mines and Metals Association, and an Information Officer at the Fair Work Commission. Lucy started as a Solicitor at PWB Lawyers after earning a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Tasmania between 2005 and 2009.
