Steve Isaac

Steve Isaac has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Steve began their career in 1989 at Hydro Tasmania as a Computer Programmer. Steve then moved on to work as a Senior Consultant at Xpedior from 1999 to 2001. Following that, they joined Synateq as a Senior Consultant from 2001 to 2003. Returning to Hydro Tasmania in 2003, Steve held positions such as Senior Business Analyst, Project Manager, and Business Intelligence Analyst. Steve also briefly served as the Acting Business Intelligence and Data Integration Manager in 2015. Most recently, Steve has been working at Hydro Tasmania as a Data Engineer and Chief Warden since May 2021.

Steve Isaac has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Science from the University of Tasmania, which they obtained between 1986 and 1989. In 2010, they completed a Diploma of Project Management from the Skills Institute of Tasmania. In 2012, they pursued a Diploma of Management from the same institute.

In terms of additional certifications, Steve obtained a number of certifications in recent years. In 2023, they obtained the Alation Data Governance Advocate, Learning Data Governance, Mastering Alation Analytics, Data Catalog Fundamentals, and Using Compose certifications from Alation. In 2022, they obtained the Alation User Brilliance Badge and the Learning GitHub certification from LinkedIn. In 2021, they completed the Power BI Essential Training from LinkedIn. Steve also completed a Diploma of Management from the Skills Institute of Tasmania in 2013 and a Diploma of Project Management from TasTAFE in 2011.
